- Durability and Protection: It provides a durable, leak-proof container that can withstand high pressure and external environmental factors, such as UV rays and heat, which might degrade plastic tanks over time.
- Filtration: Source water first passes through a multi-stage filtration system to remove impurities like chlorine heavy metals, sediments, and organic compounds, ensuring it is clean before the electrical process begins.
- Electrolysis: The filtered water then enters the electrolysis chamber, which contains several positive and negative electrodes, typically made of platinum-coated titanium plates. A direct electrical current is appliedto these plates.
- Ion Separation: The electric charge causes the water molecules and dissolved minerals to separateinto tw differentstreams based on their charge:
- Alkaline Water: Water rich in negatively charged hydroxide ions (OH-) and beneficial minerals (calcium, magnesium) is directed to one outlet, usually for drinking.
- Acidic Water: Water rich in positively charged hydrogen ions. (H+) is directed to a separate outlet, often used for cleaning or skincare purposes.
